Prime rate is currently 5.5 through the Fed. Yes 1.99 is less than 3.99, but let’s not act like 1.99 or 2.99 is the current norm, it is the exception. Doesn’t matter what you paid last June or even in November. Rates change monthly and they have absolutely trended upwards, and will continue to do so. Audi’s rates however dropped significantly for January. You’ll bypass the loyalty discount, whatever it is for your region, via an outside bank so all depends what works to your advantage and what your actual payment plan is intended to be.

Nit pick question. (Not that I feel the carbon BOP upgrade is worth the up charge.. but...)

On this RS5 SB with Carbon BOP, it seems the rear spoiler isn’t carbon. Is it typically painted? The front spoiler and mirrors are carbon for sure. But, the rear? I mean, for $4k extra, you want every little piece of carbon you paid for... (Sorry, I didn’t take a close up picture.)

Notice the following stipulation: "Not all customers will qualify for financing." Unfortunately, any loyalty incentive I have seen in the past couple years is tied to financing or leasing through AFS. I would be very happy if Audi did bring back a loyalty incentive not tied to financing.

The description on the build page say the carbon BOP includes:
  • 20" 5-arm-flag design forged bi-color anthracite finish wheels with 275/30 summer performance tires
  • Carbon exterior side mirror housings
  • Carbon rear lip spoiler
  • Carbon front blade, side sill inserts, and rear diffuser
  • High-gloss black exterior kit with quattro script

Just saw this one at the auto show with the matte alu optic carbon option and the spoiler was definitely carbon. First time seeing the carbon package in person and it looks nice but not sure its worth the price

I had a good test drive today. The only issue (besides not getting an immediate “go for it” from a certain person) was it felt a little compressed in the headroom. Not as much head clearance as the TTS.

White may be bottom of the list. It’s either Mythos or (1st place) Daytona.

its on a car by car basis

RS models almost always tie loyalty discount to finance. For January, all other models had loyalty regardless if the car was financed through Audi or not to the best of my recollection (not in front of the programs at the moment)
