I'm in the same boat that you are. I won't order without BO. That said, I think Glisse is right. I don't know whether AoA read and took to heart all the posts about no orders without BO, or whether it was for some other reason, but they introduced BO on the S4 pretty quickly. And I think they like to keep the S4 and S5 pretty much in line, including wheel selection (which was expanded with the S4 BO package). So like Glisse, I think we'll see a S5 BO package very soon - within the next few weeks . . . Just my guess.
Um...unless I'm looking in the wrong place, the BO on the 2018 S4 is not available in the US.
I was at the NY Auto Show on Sat and talked to the Audi rep and let them know that AoA needs to stop with not bringing over more wheels/BO package/colors that the Germans/rest of the world get to just say "Oh look new for next model year" when it's not new. I told them straight up that I wouldn't be buying any current S4/S5 and I'm in the market unless the BO was available.

I'm trying to put together an S5 Sportback ED order with an Audi Exclusive paint (Nardo) and Black Optics. AoA rejected it yesterday because of the Black Optics. After we spoke today, my dealer decided to re-enter the order without BO believing that the option will become available before the order freezes. If it's not available by then, we'll cancel the order and start again. So we're all hoping BO becomes available soon.
