I picked it up Friday and the first three observations are:

1. Technology over load (and I'm in IT my whole life).
2. Damn this thing has ***** in Dynamic mode.
3. the ride is so much smoother than my old 435 with RFT's (night and day)






I've have been fiddling around with CarPlay/Android Auto/ Waze and all the connections one can have between multiple phones. I'll post a more complete review and comparison to my old 435 M-Perf with sound and power kit after spending some more time with it. Here is some eye candy. The pics aren't the greatest but I will get better ones soon.

One question.. When I am using AA, how do i get waze as the Nav app on the MMI? I can't even get to a "home" screen with AA like I can with CarPlay.

Strange. Waze works well for me. What android device are you using? I'm on a note 8 with nougat (obviously)

"Technology overload" hahaha. So true. I set a whole bunch of drivers assistance settings in the garage when I first got mine. First time on the highway was bonkers with the way I had everything initially set.

I have a Galaxy S4 running v5.x. how do you get waze to come up on the screen?

I just can't get into the greys. But that is me. I guess I also have the time to keep the black spotless.

Maybe its your old android device. To get waze up, just click on the lower map icon and select google maps or waze.

I checked and it says my older one shoudl work but it is 2 years old.... I can't even get to the bottom row of icons to click. let me see what other droids I have in my desk that might be newer
