Default S5 Key Differences

Silly question, but my wife has a 2017 Q7 and I have a 2018 S5 SB on order. Does the S5 key have an S logo or anything to differentiate it, or are we just going to have some identical keys? (I know there is a grey and black key, but we would now have two of each.

We have a 2018 S5 and 2018 SQ5. The keys are similar, and I initially thought with the move to all S model keys having just the 'S', and not the model designation, that they'd be identical. Turns out, there are subtle differences. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

As.for your Q7 key, it is assuredly different (if similar in shape) and sans S logo. Shouldn't be too confusing.

As others have mentioned, the difference is there.

We have had two Audi's in the household for over a decade. Rather than examine the "fine print", have always found it easier to use different key rings to distinguish between them all.

I guess it doesn't matter as both keys will usually be in my pocket and I won't have to take either of them out to use either car.

The two keys that came with our S5 SB are slightly different; the key bodies are trimmed out uniquely. Subjectively, they are both very nicely done, but I've never seen anything like that before where you get two keys that look different. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, one is matte and the other gloss. It makes sense since the seat memory is tied to a key, so if two drivers share a car it will automatically adjust.

My wife and I each keep a key to each car on the same keyring. She keeps hers in her purse and I keep mine in my pocket.

With keyless entry/start, it really doesn't matter what the keys look like.
