I'm surprised you even get this good considering all city. For city only driving, I average about 11mpg..

Ouch haha, Ive been averaging 19mpg in the city. That includes about 80% in Comfort and 20% in Dynamic.

My mostly city commute yields roughly 21.5 mpg at 21-22 mph. I've driven a little bit on the highway on my current tank and am at around 22.5 - 23.0 mpg. Mileage is gradually improving (I'm at 1300 miles) and it already is no more than 5% lower than the mileage on my B8 with the 2.0T.

This really makes me wonder if something is wrong with my car. I mean I do drive in sport 24/7 (D mode is unusable imho) but there's just no cracking 12mpg in the city no matter how conservatively I drive.

I probably only drive in S 10-15% of the time because I'm normally stuck in Dallas traffic, so that is definitely a factor, but even in S, I probably would get around 18 mpg. Maybe you live life 1/4 mile at a time.

Heh, I live in Dallas too. My daily commute is basically Midway and NW Highway to the off ramp of the tollway in uptown, so like 80-90% Tollway which is usually traffic free. Best mileage I've ever accomplished in Comfort-S on that route is 19mpg.

Are you in the Preston Hollow Village area?

I drive down and around 75 from Collin County to North Dallas, so I am driving in pretty severe traffic, but I can still get 20 mpg +. My bigger concern is not getting rear ended by a typical zombie driver.

They’re probably originally from New Jersey! We certainly seem to have more than our share of people who fly up behind you and then tailgate you!
