S5 Sportback in Production
Wanted to share..Just got the "official" (as opposed to, from the dealership) email from Audi that my S5 Sportback has gone into production. Hopefully good news for a bunch of us as I was originally told 5/12 by the dealership, and then changed to 4/25. Now it appears to have started even earlier. Curious is others are starting to get bumped up production times as well and also from other past Audi owners how long has your delivery taken to the US when you have gotten these emails in the past?

The email was sent without any type of request or notice. The salesman I've been working with would shoot me emails every few weeks with an update but this was the first email from Audi.

That was probably sent as part of the Audi "Owner in Waiting" program. The sales person can submit your email address for updates directly from Audi on the status of your order.
Even though my car completed production on 4/11, I didn't get that email even though I was supposedly enrolled in the Owner in Waiting program. Going to have to ask him about that today...
