Default Scratches in plastic Seat Back

All,
Does anyone know an easy way to get some very light scratches out of the plastic seat backs?
The car wash or dealer scratched both seats on the sides where the center console is, so every time I look over my shoulder I can see the scratches.
I have tried Goo Gone, thinking they were just rubber marks from shoes, etc., but that hasn't worked.
I don't want to lose the overall texture, so I can't use something harsh.
Was thinking soft scrub unless anyone has any other suggestions????

I've used Novus plastic polish kits with decent results on interior plastic scratches. However if it's deeper, the only thing you can try is very light passes with a heat gun to soften up the plastic (just don't do it too much or it will melt the plastic and leave it a shiny texture).

Beware of polishing any matte plastic... In my experience it will produce shiny areas and unless you do the whole piece, you may end up with something more noticeable than some scratches.

Isn't it ironic that the very people who are supposed to take care of your car ends up scratching it? I'd be furious and have them fix it provided that you have proof, but proof is hard to come by.

That’s why I will never let anyone detail or even vacuum my car. Reduce the risk.

Magic Eraser, maybe? I'd sure try it on inconspicuous place first, as I can easily imagine making it worse.

Can you post a pic of the scratches? I would be very, very careful before doing anything. Speaking from experience trying to fix scratches on matte plastic surfaces on my B8.

It's impossible to fix because of the texture. I have similar damage from a careless brother who I took on a road trip with me, and feel your pain. I've asked probably 4 different people in the detailing and/or automotive enthusiast community and all have said "that's just what your car looks like now."
