So, any suggestions on what color Audi slimline plate frames look best on the 2018 S5 Sportback? US plates are slightly smaller than the black backing plate on the trunk, and you have the chrome finish on the front bumper. Choices are black, brushed stainless, or polished stainless. The car is Ibis/Magma. My wife thinks I spend too much time thinking about these things

Joe, welcome aboard. You might be spending too much time thinking about this.


The black mounting plate can easily be trimmed to make things look a bit neater back there.

If everything else is shiny, then you gotta go shiny...brushed/satin or black would look out of place unless everything else matched.

I'm sure a quick google search will turn up plenty but watch out for the cheap eBay stuff,it looks good out of the box but doesn't hold up.

I must spend too much time thinking about this stuff too because I actually ordered the brushed metal frame when I got my car. It's actually really good quality and I love it.
