Speed Limiter
I know the cars that come with all season tires have 130mph speed limiter. What if I changed the tires that had a higher rating, would Audi lift the speed limiter at the dealership? Has anyone done that before? Thanks.

They likely won't lift anything at the dealership, they'll tell you the option is part of a performance package. Vag-com isn't going to do it either, will need an ECU Upgrade more than likely.

Yep, you'll need a ECU tune for that, APR lists it as one of the benefits on it's website.

I went to the APR website, but didn’t see only for removing speed limiter. It only has ECU upgrade for power and torque.

Correct, it's part of the whole package, the power and torque upgrade comes with the removed speed limiter. I'm not aware of an option of just removing the speed limiter, a local tuner could probably do it through a custom tune, but really wouldn't recommend to jeopardize your warranty just to increase the speed limiter by another 20 mph.

Tuned Limiter
My APR tuned A5 has a 130mph speed limiter. The tuner doesn't exactly know why. Has anyone else had this issue or know why this would be the case?

034Motorsport tunes remove the limiter. I have their stage 1 tune on my RS5.
