Also remember that the parts differ between the s-line and the non-s-line cars. So, if you order them, be sure to get the right ones. The OEM parts come with all the necessary connectors and instructions.

Anyone knows if these splash guards will minimize rocks from getting kicked up to the rear quarter panel?

Here are some pictures from a standing position. They are fairly low profile.
Thanks for the pics...would you mind taking one from the rear of the car...perhaps a little lower. I'd like to see them from that perspective...versus the pics you took standing up. Thank you in advance...I appreciate it!

Default wowzers

My dealer quoted me $510 for splash guard install on my A5 SB. $200 for the guards and $310 for labor (2hrs).

Kind of wanted them before winter comes but at that price - not so sure.

I'm curious:
a) what others have paid
b) if anyone has had experience DIY'ing the install... visually, it looks like a little more of a project than I initially expected

3.1415927: I recommend you shop around for the OEM parts and have a qualified independent do it. I had a 20% off coupon and so got the guards from my dealer for $160, 80% of the quote you got, but the dealer quoted $210 for labor. I don't know their hourly rate. A local independent who specializes in German cars was $90/hr and did it in an hour. It appears to be a bigger PITA than one would predict. If you get your own parts, be sure to get the correct ones: the S-Line A5 differs from the non-S-Line A5.

Default Not available on 2019 S5 SB?

I asked just today and my Audi Brand Specialist replied "Audi does not offer splash guards for the S5 sportback".
Does anyone have experience with the 2019 models?

3.14...: Today might be the day to buy your splash guards. I see Audi USA Parts dot com has 20% off everything with free shipping. Depending on where you live, possibly no sales tax. Code = FRI20 . (I am not associated with them, but I have bought from them in the past.) Don't forget that S-Line differs from non-S-Line A5.

Thanks... unfortunately I bought them (from that site) a couple weeks back.

Havent done the install yet, got cold feet when they arrived. Did find a local German car specialist that estimated 100-150 to do it. So thanks for the suggestion. Will likely follow through in the next couple of weeks

They are indeed very low profile. Does it really help with splash? is it worth to get both front and rear?
