Sport Exhaust Resonator (factory) 2022 S5 Prestige
 

How I can add more "rumble" to this exhaust without voiding my warranty? The shifting "pop" sounds are ok, but this resonator does not come with any kind of sporty sound at all.

I assume you have it in sport / Dynamic mode. Sounds pretty good to me?

Tried it, much better rumble, thanks! (it does drop down a gear from regular dynamic, so gas mileage, which has been disappointing in the first place, goes to about 13-14). Just guess you have to pay to play :). Appreciate your help…

You should look into making the valves stay open all the time. I got the CETE valve controller (not the cheapest option) that lets me customize how they function, but others have just straight unplugged and capped the connection to the exhaust valves. Having it open at all RPMs helps so so much. I actually added the sport resonators on later myself and that coupled with valves open all the time is just the right amount of sound for me! It's also nice to be able to still slide it into comfort and quiet it down if I want to. You can then drive in whatever mode you want (or transmission setting), and still get the sound you want.

I am surprised you don't think it is loud enough. I more or less have the same by doing a VPS front resonator delete and love the sound. Granted I could use a little more volume out of it but I think it's quiet when I want it and cracks and pops in dynamic. Granted I am sure I hear much more of it with the top down than you do with the windows down... but that's a perk of having a cabriolet....

go to drive select and choose INDIVIDUAL. Change your exhaust sound to PRESENT. You don't have to use S mode and stay in a lower gear.
