Doesn't look like it. I should know by midday. Seems as if all S5's are still being held at the port

Delivery appointment cancelled. Car is sitting at the port collecting dust. S5 SB's and Cab's being held at port for some reason.

I did go sit in an A5 SB today....and LOVED it. This is worth the wait.

That's a bummer. Seems like Audi timed things poorly dropping the Q5/SQ5, A5/S5 (All variants) so close to each other. Seems to be slowing things down.

I don't understand why they are holding the cars at port. There has to be good reason why they are not taking our money.

...but does it have to be so frustrating!? :-p

Was wondering this myself. Spoke to a salesman today who said they know when they get them. Thought highest likelihood was two weeks after the A5.

So that's one more week. Not bad.

Tomorrow is 80 and sunny. Would've been a picture perfect delivery day.

I was told by my dealer that there is a "software problem" and all the cars have to be re-flashed before being released.

I guess it's for the S only and not the A's? Is yours sitting at the port? What did you order?

I have not taken the plunge yet. I wanted to wait to compare the S4 and S5SB in the flesh and make a decision over the flat bottom vs heated steering wheels (I was not too keen on the flat steering wheel in the S4 I drove a few weeks ago) and the seating choices. I have a hankering to replace my B7 S4 that I've had since new, so changing is going to be tough emotionally. The S5SB is worth waiting for as my heart fell when I saw the 2018 S4 and my wife said: "hey, it looks just like your current car! Why do you want a new one again?"

I know what I'd want though in either based on a guess on the seats:

S4 Prestige: Daytona Gray, Carbon, 19" wheels, cold, warm, Sport, Assist, dynamic, nappa, side airbags = $66,175 MSRP

S5 SB Prestige: Daytona Gray, Carbon, 19" wheels, Sport, Warm, Cold, Assist, nappa, dynamic, side airbags = $67,375 MSRP

Not much difference, until you find out that ACNA discount doesn't apply to SB's so I need to really fall in love with it and see how willing the dealer is to deal. *sigh*
