Default STEK DYNOShield - Modesta BC-04 - SunTek CIR

So I was doing a lot of research and quote comparing on auto detail shops here in Houston. I came across Vive Auto Detailing.
They specialize in STEK for Paint Protection Film, Modesta for ceramic coating and SunTek CIR for ceramic window tint.

Does anyone have any experience with these brands?

Originally I was leaning towards XPEL for both PPF and Tint and Ceramic Pro for the ceramic coating. I was impressed by the clarity of the STEK DYnoShield and the wetness of the Modesta BC-04. I was also impressed by the shop.

I had the Modesta BC-08 applied to my S5 SB Thanksgiving week. Admittedly, I picked the detailer, then went with what he uses. He recommended the less expensive -08 product over the -04 product for a daily driver. I have been quite pleased so far. With the weather the way it's been, I have only been able to rinseless wash it, but it still looks great.

Nice! Do you have any photos you can share? Also, did you only do the ceramic coating and no PPF?

Modesta is legit. Don't hesitate to apply it.

Thanks. For whatever reason, I'm partial to green cars. I, also, like this green.

Off-topic: My only issue, now that the clearcoat is corrected, is that the metallic green base coat looks like it didn't level. It isn't immediately obvious, but it doesn't look smooth. Is this a property of metallic paints? Has anyone else seen this? Is it normal?

I used Gtechniq EXOv3, Crystal Serum Light on my wife's BMW X4. It took two days to apply it myself, but the results were good. That is prepping the vehicle and applying the serum light than the EXO. I use the Gtechniq Quick Detailer After Wash Cleaner Spray to keep it touched up. Plan to use it on my 2019 S5 Sportback. A lot cheaper than getting it professionally applied.

I'm from Houston and used Vive several times for tint and Xpel protection film, they are a top notch shop.
