It seems fairly easy to slide in and out. Is there any locking screw to keep it from sliding?

There's a little detent built into one of the rods, you slide it in then ever so gently pull it towards you about 1/8" until you hear it click...or lock...into place.

I will work with Mashell to offer a discount code to forum members like she did with the Jaguar, let me contact her now and see if this is in fact the correct piece.

OK, just received this response from Mashell, Mike just put the A4 bracket up, S5/A5 coming soon and she'll apply a 10% (maybe it was 15%) if you use AUDIFORUM as the discount code:

Hi John-

Mike just added the A4, but hasn’t completed the others yet. The S5 is looking like it will be different than the A4.
We will be adding the following models in the near future (hopefully before we leave for the SEMA Show, but no promises):

2017-2018 A8/A8L

2017-2018 A6

2017-2018 S6

2017-2018 S5

2017-2018 Q7

I will add discount code AUDIFORUM to the site and set it the same as the Jag Forum discount

Thanks!
Mashell

Should be soon guys...

Thanks for all you hard work. A small suggestion if not too late. Can they add a small screw so the rod can be locked into place if needed. Don't want the chance of some kid pulling it off and running off with your front plate.

I'll take a picture of the receiver when I remove it from my Jaguar before I turn it in on Monday, it has a small ring on the side that operates the pin which slides into the detent, it's spring loaded and pretty impossible to remove if you didn't know what you were doing, plus it's much closer to the lower front fascia than the stock location and you'd have to be on the ground to remove it.

I know exactly where it is and how it operates so you just kneel down in front of the grille and remove, it becomes second nature....besides, adding a screw or locking it into place sorta defeats the whole STO 'N SHO feature, doesn't it?

I would imagine that the discount code AUDIFORUM would work for any Audi bracket they offer guys...I'll confirm that with Mashell.

If you need any other bracket for your fleet, use the code for promotional pricing.

OK guys...looks like we're all ready to pre-order the bracket for the A5/S5, here's what I received back from Mashell today:
"Hi John,
We just got back in to town from the SEMA Show, but I spoke with Mike and he is confident on the fitment for the S5.
I have added a pre-order link in our online store. I estimated the date of 11/17 for shipments just to be safe, but they could be ready to ship prior to that date."

Here's the link...don't forget to put AUDIFORUM in the discount code:
STO N SHO 2017-2018 Audi S5

I'll be ordering mine this week...
