Default Temperature issue..? Anyone else have this problem?

So I live in northern Arizona where it actually snows and is pretty cold but I keep finding my S5 showing that it’s a lot warmer outside than it is...I wish it was 82F when it was actually 34F. Anyone seen a similar issue with their car?

What did you expect, it's a "hot car."

Take it in for service. If you have a VCDS (VAGCOM) run a scan of the modules.

Are you near Flagstaff?

FWIW the external temperature sensor doesn’t typically “throw a code” it is a simple system and fails just as you are seeing...reading higher or lower than expected. It should be an easy repair as the sensor is usually visible right behind the grille.
