Default TIL : Sunroof has THREE! Modes

Well, maybe I am the only one that didn't realize this, but in case of not I wanted to share. Today I found out that the sunroof button is a 4-way switch, it moves back/forward, and up/down. Up/Down allows for angle open. neat!
  • Sunroof fully open, with sunshade closed: My preferred mode, I LOVE THIS. Pinch both sliders together at the same time. Glass roof slides back, sunshade slides forward.
  • Sunroof fully open, with sunshade open: Both sliders slide back
  • Sunroof angled open: With Sunroof closed, pull DOWN own the Sunroof Slider

You can also have it partially open(not angled).

Why have the sunroof open and shade closed? My fear is that the shade would flap in the breeze and eventually stretch out and get loose. For this I only have it closed when the sunroof is closed.

Give it a try, it's stable. You get some air movement and shade at the same time. It's the first sun roof that lets me do that.

I found the switch will work to angle open the sunroof from any position, the roof doesn't have to be already closed.

In some cultures, it's good luck when a bird poops on your head.
