I placed order for S5 SB the first week of May, and just heard from dealer that production week is September 29. Anyone know approximately when I should expect delivery in Florida?

Typically an ordered unit takes 3 months, give or take for delivery.
Sounds like yours is taking longer perhaps because your dealer didn't have an allocation?

No, it's an exclusive paint, so I knew it would be longer. I'm just wondering about the time from build week to delivery -- one month, two . . .?

my builddate was 4/25 and am picking it up tomorrow. So about 5+ weeks for me.

My new Audi A5 SB, which was ordered by the dealer (not custom-ordered by me), was built on 3/21 according to the metal sticker under the hood, and arrived in the United States at Houston port on 5/12. So apparently it takes 7+ weeks between production completion and arrival to our shores, and it arrived at my dealer in Denver on the 16th. Hope that helps.

My A5 SB built on 10 May and it is expected to arrive at the port in Houston on 8 Jun.


I figure 10 days from then to clear customs and get trucked to Denver.

Order Submitted, March 10
Accepted by Audi, March 15
Frozen to changes, March 28
Production completed, April 27
Shipped out from Emden, May 6
Arrived at the port of Davisville, May 22
Still hasn't arrived at my dealer yet but it's any day now.
