Not it still would because people refuse to read the manual and will set the tire pressure to max pressure.

How would direct TPMS help? I assume it doesn’t throw errors at either max pressure or normal pressure since apparently they expect you to change it based on how many people you give a ride to.

I meant you wouldn't be surprised about the actual tire pressures 2 weeks after delivery, you would know right away. Agreed you still need to know what to set it to.

Direct TPMS might even throw an error at 30 with it being so low whereas indirect will be forever happy at 30 if its baseline was set at 30.

According to my dealer, both the door sticker and manual are incorrect. They set mine to 33 all around for light load since I drive solo 99% of the time. The car rides and handles great.

Unless you are tracking the car, the rear tires does not need to be set higher than the front. I set all four of my tires to 35 psi for even wear.

I will never believe what a dealer says.

I don't see any recommendation to set rear tire higher than the front so I'm not sure why you are saying this.
