I had that problem within the first month of ownership. Quick trip back to the dealership, S/W upgrade & I’ve never had another problem.

Good Luck.

Check the position of your seat. If its too high, the presenter is disabled because its close to hitting/interfering with the seat.

I concur. If the seat position is too high or too far back the belt assistant will not activate. Figures you can reach the seat belt in that situation

It’s a mechanism that slides the seat belt / Shoulder-harness forward to the front seats when you sit in the front seats and close the front doors. It’s making the seatbelts easier to get ahold of for the front seat passengers.

I think only the coupés are equipped with this mechanism, but I’m NOT positive on that. I wouldn’t see a need for a presenter in the 4 doors as the seatbelt is attached to the “B” pillars and should be easily reached.

LOL. This is such a wreck. So after opening a case with AoA and walking my dealership through the process in TSB 2053028/1, they still gave me this line of garbage that "software version 1178 is the most recent software for your car, it cannot be updated." Outrageous. This is Audi Beverly Hills, one of the largest Audi dealers in the country. Looks like I had the same issue that @henrymmcleodiii had too—and my service department's "shop foreman" (their phrase) refused to do the update. It'll be a fun phone call when they follow up to ask how my service went, and when AoA sends their followup email asking if everything was fixed.

Pathetic.

Wow, that's unfortunate. I had to email the service rep the TSB pdf that @jayhova1 posted above (thanks) before he knew what I was talking about, but then they did fix it.

They definitely care about the surveys; don't hold back.

I have the top view camera issue and after reading too many threads / posts, I still can't make my head around it...

What is the difference between TSB 2053028/1 and TSB 2048517/2. From my understanding, they both fix the issue but you only one to be done. But which one?

I currently have Software Version 1178 and my Information Electronics control module has Software Part Number 8W5.035.880.B
