Default Trunk lips: 3M tape?

Does anyone have any experience with these trunk lips? I’m wondering how the 3M tape stands up to the weather/car washes?

I bought a replica lip spoiler for my a4 about 2 years ago and if you are referring to the 3M automotive tape that is thin, black and has the red backing, it holds well, from the 19 to 120 Texas temps.

I used it for a spoiler on my previous car. Had it for 6 years in Minnesota and Colorado mountain weather and never had a problem.

The facfory installed rear lip spolier on my Mercedes was held onto with 3M tape. The ends were lifting from the tape and the dealer had to replace it.
