Trying to decide if you want an A5 or an S5?
This might be a helpful video review for you:
((Pretty spot on in my opinion. I have less than zero desire to own the S5 variant. The A5 is the perfect blend of performance, styling, comfort and cost.))

I doubt you'll be disappointed in any way with the A5 version.
Although, I wish I could have ordered the red S-Line interior, but that's a minor quibble.

The A5 is a great car. So is the S5. You choose which one you want based on your own needs and capabilities. Let's just leave it at that.

That's great that you love your A5. It really is. It is just funny how defiant you are about the S variant. Almost as if you had to prove a point and justify the A5 to yourself.

Reason why I decided to go with the S5 over the A5:
1) The Transmission. ZF8 shifts quickly enough. The torque converter is more reliable than the DSG.
2) More performance out of the 3.0L engine, and again Audi's most reliable engine yet.
3) over a second faster from 0-60, which is what matters more than the top speed for us in the USA
4) the Navarra Blue color
5) $12K didn't seem to be really steep for me considering the performance gains.
But, I would not have been disappointed with the A5 as well.

They are both great cars and the reason they make both and let you option them to your liking is because everyone has their needs and desires. I thought briefly of downsizing from a 435iX to an A5. Instead I chose the S5 for the following reasons:
1. for most my life I always chose the 4 cylinder engine or the smaller 6. With my 435 I finally had the joy of a beast and included the MPPSK package. At this moment, I didn't want to go back to 4 cylinder. That might change in 3 years.
2. I love the S seats in red.
3. I wanted the flat bottom stearing
4. the 4 port exhaust is awesome to look at and the sounds is solid
5. Yes, the faster acceleration time is a major win.
The downside.. the added $$$
