4.5% off msrp is weak. Get the cap cost down, you can try to do it by lowering the sale price or dropping the cash drive off to 0

4.5% off sticker is not too good. I would shoot for 6% off as a minimum. The best reported is 10-11% off...probably only happens at the end of the month when the dealer needs to make sales to meet certain performance quotas.

Plenty of A5 SBs have been sold for 10%+ off to people on this forum. Can't call it a lie, when they post pictures of their deal

Oh, ok...

6% is pretty much standard fair - and 10%+ happens more than you would think.

I got 6% off my A5 SB with zero haggling and I ordered at the end of March of last year even before the A5 hit the US shores.

I ordered from what claims to be the #1 volume Audi dealer in the US and got 9.5% off without much hassle at all. I am sure if I had some in lower I could have got 10% or more no problem. I need to learn to be a better negotiator...

That may be the case at your dealership, but there are plenty of dealerships who will discount further.

I got 10.5% off on a S5 Sportback before the $1000 loyalty. I negotiated 6% off on an order over the phone, but they found one nearby with a few more options (dynamic steering, ring door lights and all weather). They offered me 10.5% off as long as I left a deposit and returned the next day to finalize the deal once they got the car (they wanted a sale for the month of January). I paid a $499 documentation fee, and they gave me the KBB excellent condition trade in amount forms B8 S4.

I got 10% plus the $1000 2 weeks ago on S5 SB. Doc fee was a bit higher but happy with my deal for sure.
