Default S5 Sportback Liftgate Opening Issues...

Upon searching the forum's I couldn't find anything on issues I am having with the "kick" opening of my S5 SB hatch. I am unable to get this to work with the key in my pocket/hand. Is there an MMI component that needs to be enabled to get this to work?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks all

It is a VERY specific motion. Are you sure you are doing it correctly?

You put your right foot in. You take your right foot out. And you shake it all about.

...but really, yeah foot in and out. At first I was waving my foot under the trunk and was wondering why it wasn't working.

Yea, I've found that you basically need to walk up to it, put foot under and pull back out smoothly, and take a step back. I couldn't get it to work at all for me.

This video schooled me on the technique:

So the B8 coupe had that feature and the B9 doesn't?
