Bought this a few days ago and it is very good quality and fits perfectly in my B9 S5. The only problem is in the A4 it seems there's a 12V outlet in the top right corner so this has a cutout which in our cars means there's just a hole. It's not too bad, you can probably use the hole for pens or a stick of gum or whatever.

Apart from the perfect fit, I like the little rubber liners that come with - seem good quality and good they can be easily removed for cleaning. Has a compartment for coins which is a bonus. I have a Note 8 and it fits (just about) in the large compartment - smaller phones - nearly any other phone basically should fit nicely. The rubber is non skid so things stay in place too.

I wonder what it would take to convince them to make one for the S5 (no hole). It looks really nice for the price, but I think the missing space would bother me.

It is unfortunate. Not that noticeable and it hangs off the top so there's space below it. Use that for napkins, flat items etc.

I bought one of these before I even took delivery of the car in June. It works great and looks like it's something that just came with the car. I use a ProClip phone mount that attaches to the center island. I run a USB cable from the MMI port through the small hole in the back, then back up through the square hole were the lighter would be and then out the front . That helps keep the cable where I can easily reach it when getting into the car before dropping into the dock.

So... stupid question... is the console on the coupe the same as the sb? Wouldn't mind this for my coupe

I have it in my A5 coupe, it fits perfect. Really feels like it came with the car.
