two thumbs up for the S sport seats...

I've got to say I was skeptical but after some 2400 km I think that these seats are more comfortable than the seats in my 2010 M3 coupe or 2014 435i xDrive coupe. A very simple criterion: if I drove with my wallet in the right back pocket of my jeans for more than an hour I would feel discomfort in my right buttock/thigh, with the S5 Sportback I fell no such discomfort. And while I too find the seemingly random inflating of the lumbar support and bolsters weird, there is no doubt that the support is very good.

Agreed! My 2013 M3 seats were nice but not as nice as my S5 Coupe's. The massage feature is just icing on the cake.

I agree with the sport seats in general .... but my one pet peeve is that the seats don't seem to retain the amount of bolster adjustment I put in them as part of the seat memory. I have to adjust side bolsters if I want every time I get in the car. Am I missing a setting or something?

The seats are great - Better than my Macan seats were.

maybe you're too impatient...

If you wait I think the phantom adjusts them to your last position.

Don't think it is doing this for me, even with storing the position in the seat memory. Think I need to ROFM and see if this should be the case.

looking forward to your findings...

But "seat of the pants" my seat inflates in two stages. I don't feel the lumbar support inflating until a few minutes into the ride.

Do the seats change when you option the cooled seats?

Yes. The sport seats do not have the cooling option.

Interesting. Does it still have the massage feature?

Anyone have a picture of the seats with the cooling feature?
