Audi seem to make a number of LED lights in the same shape but with different bulbs and brightness. In the A5 B9 Sportback there are atleast 3 similar lights.

Part number : 4E0947415A used in the footwell, if you don't have the extended LED package. And also the door puddle lights, in all cars.
Part number : 8J0947409 used in the boot lid. This is the brighter higher light output version.
Part number : 7L0947415 used in the glovebox. This is the only non LED bulb in the entire car!

All 3 above have the same shape. 4E0947415A and 8J0947409, even have the same connector. So in case you want brighter LEDs and want to stick to original OEM AUDI parts, they are a direct replacements.

7L0947415 uses a different connector. So you need to build a harness, if you want to use one of the LED replacements.

For 4E0947415A (or in fact 8J0947409 too) there is another alternative. There are several aftermarket LED PCB Module replacements available. So you use your current housing but replace the LED PCB inside them.
These are available in several colours and brightness. I bought the 6 LED versions which is perfect for the boot lid, because I found even the high powered OEM version a bit too dim for the boot.

These are also available in several colours too, in case you fancy different coloured foot well or puddle lights and in case you didn't spec your car with the multicoloured LED interior.
