Ok - I know this is a bit OCD, however:

1) I'm trying to add an LED light to the center console under the arm rest. But my vehicle only has the USB port, no 12v port in the console. I currently use the port for my iPhone. I have tried a USB splitter and a USB HUB - both attempts, same result, the iPhone no longer connects to the MMI but the light remains on - and for what t's worth, works perfectly seeing in the console at night.... Anybody with an idea? I think Audi has disabled port splitting....

2) Is there any coding to get the RS5 welcome screen also on the main MMI panel, the way the old B8.5's did it with the old school dash??? I know this is totally OCD - but it would be cool...

That could work...
But I also just ordered a different type of hub.
The original hub claime a much lower max milliamperes before instability occurs.
I just a 4 port Lenovo that has a 900ma max - we'll see if that does the trick.
My iPhone has a max draw of 750ma's and the tiny little usb LED has like 10-20ma's.....
