I just returned from a 700 mi week-long road trip, and self-parking is my basic requirement for selecting a hotel. We stayed in a hotel further away from where we wanted to be because I refuse to stay in a place with valet-only parking.

X 2. I never valet park any vehicle — even a rental when traveling — as I have no faith in handing my keys to someone who is making minimum wage. Call me whatever you may want but that’s my stand.

Weddings, Private Parties — I always park my car and keep the keys.

I’d call you.........normal. I’m the same. I park my car myself and keep my key with me.
