WAZE question?
I have noticed that when I use the WAZE app with CarPlay in the car I don’t seem to get any “hazard” warnings. When I use it as a stand-alone in my 04 Tahoe I seem to get all kinds of warnings. Is it my imagination or am I missing something? TIA

I have noticed that when you select the microphone on a couple of the car play apps, including Waze, that CarPlay doesn’t ‘release’ the mic, and changing the volume on the radio/media play has no effect (since the volume is ‘busy’ changing what is is calling ‘entertainment’). Anyone else notice this?
Sometimes it can’t be resolved (i.e. if you want to listen to the radio again) unless you unplug and plug back in the iPhone.

used it today to and from NJ, about 5 hrs in the car total, and 2 different cars (19 Q5, 19 A4) - every warning came up from car on side of the road, to potholes

Make sure you hit the selector to start the nav. There's been several times I click the wheel thinking that "start nav" (or whatever) is highlighted, but it wasn't. How I know this is that my map goes to plain map view, but with no route selected/chosen.
