What's the part number for the correct oil for the S5?
My service record says G-E52-577-S0 for the oil. How do I make sure it's the correct one? Anyone know?

If you look at #22 in the thread I compared the color of the oil the dealer used vs. the geniune Castrol 0W-20 oil after driven for the same # of miles. Heck, even after driven for 100 miles the oil still had a green tint to it compared to the oil the dealer first put in.

Do your own oil change and use G052577M2 and filter 06M198405F. It's the only way you can be sure. I too got that same part number on my invoice after the 10K oil change, but for peace of mind I changed it again and concluded the dealer used the wrong oil in my car. Doesn't mean they used the wrong oil in your car though. The G-E52-577-S0 is supposed to be a bulk part # and no one really knows what it actually is.

That seems to be the part number most people have on their invoice, so it's probably the right part number. As for what they actually put in your car, it's anyone's guess.
