Text and email via Bluetooth?
Hey all,
reading the 2018 manual it talks about text and email via Bluetooth MAP on pages 182-183. My phone is Bluetooth MAP capable but I don’t see the option in the MMI. Am I missing something?
2018 S5 SB.

It depends on the phone. To get access to SMS on an iPhone, you need to go into the Bluetooth section on the phone, tap on the "i" icon next to the car, and turn on "Show Notifications". It's not on by default, and the next time your phone connects you'll see a fourth checkbox in the car for Messages.

Glad and I finished reading the manual 6 months into ownership. 😂
...and yes similar to car play but it’s nice to not have my phone plugged in sometimes.
