Pulled the trigger on a swap from my 2018 RS5 Coupe to a 2021 CPO S5 Sportback. Did through Audi-McKinney, TX, and they were good to deal with. Driver brought it 500 miles, leaving at 4:00am and then stopping a few miles from my house and spending 2 hours gassing & cleaning before delivery to my driveway. Love the quad exhaust chrome pipe sound (much louder in Dynamic Sport than the RS5), ride, sight lines, color & the blackout packages. Dealer also swapped out performance for Michelin Pilot A/S tires, saving me $1200 in November. Gave up 100 HP/100 LB FT. of torque (not being utilized) and lost 25,000 miles, moved up 3 model years, and gained a useable back seat. Love the laser/matrix lights. Still figuring some things out. Biggest complaint is a non-functioning NAV System. Get a scrolling message "Navigation System Initializing" with a rolling blue light bar below the text. 3 days in a row for 20-30 minutes at a time. The dealer did the 10,000 mile service before shipping to me, so am going to have to take to local Audi for a diagnostic check. Will try that volume button hold down for 10 seconds potential fix. Using Borla & steel wool every day and have the oxidation on the 4 pipes 90% gone/chrome restored. All in all, enjoying my first white car. Have become a 2 Glacier White Audi household.

@kctiger1983 — Congratulations! Looks great, I hope you have great luck with the new car!

Is the Nav a subscription only model?

Gorgeous! I picked up my S5 (Technik) a couple of months back and there was no mention of a sub for Nav - it shouldn't be... since it's not initializing, something may have happened during an update.

Glad you had a good experience with Audi McKinney, as they're my local dealer. I've read quite a few stories about switching from an S to an RS, but never the opposite.

It’s a beautiful vehicle and I fully understand about why you swapped. I’ve grown tired of having cars / trucks that I don’t use their full potential, yet I’m paying for lol.

I wasn't using a fraction of the HP/Torque, and that was really the only thing it had going for it in a coupe version. A fun toy, and COVID kept the miles down, so was able to get a good deal. Extended my warranty, and am finding that dust is hard to see on the white vs Daytona Pearl Gray. Back seat comfortable for adults, plenty quick off the line, better mileage, sweet wheels....all in all, this gives me more of a useable car where I can tote more than one other person. Tons of cargo space and a lot of attention to detail.
I would go straight to Chris Shinn if trying to do a deal, and skip the underlings. Sewell has a very strong rep in the Dallas area, and they treated me very well.

Maybe when the RS is in comfort and even then I find this to be a stretch of an opinion.

Yeah that's definitely not factual. I've owned both the S5 and RS5 and the RS5's exhaust is definitely louder.
