2018 S5 Sportback. One the back of 1 of the keys, there is some metal in addition to the plastic. On the other key, it doesn't have the metal, otherwise it seems the same.

The one with the metal is naturally heavier.

Is everyone's like this? Wanted to make sure the dealer didn't accidentally lose one of my keys and this is what replacements look like.

It's to differentiate the settings for two drivers.

The gloss black is a scratch-magnet. That stays in a drawer, using the matte-black as the daily key.

LOL, never! Possible exceptions for when the matte key is in my coat/pants pocket on another floor, and I just want to pop in to retrieve something from the car outside.

Your A5 has glossy paint, maybe it should stay in the garage
