Default I just got rid of my B5 S4; neither of my allroads steering felt like it

H-Sports are about the best thing you can do, and they do help a lot.

I tried pulling the relay on my '01 and while the steering was heavier, it still doesn't feel like the S4. I'm happy with the relay in the later models, though still a tad overboosted. It does lack the feel of the B5 and B6/B7. Brake pedal is mushier too and requires more effort, and that is with the better front calipers on both, and better rear brakes on my '05.

I know comparitively with my A4, brakes and steering were much better on the S4. I'm assuming Audi Sport improved the base equipment...with the brakes, perhaps tweaks on the proportioning or master cylinder. I have never driven a C5 S6, so I'm not sure whether Audi tweaked it as well. I've always wondered if the braking feel was better, if a master cylinder swap from a S6 would improve brake pedal feel on the ar. There I go wishing again...

What would make me giddy; a S or RS version of the allroad!!

Default It's a joke and probably rolled back mileage.

They are asking $47,999. I think that's at least $5K high.....Is it?
I wouldn't pay $12K for it. It's 14 model years old, old tech, stuff is just worn out/aged out. Unless it's certified preowned (as if!) for 4 years to 100K miles. As if.

Ummmm @SloopJohnB@mac you just responded to a thread that was 12 years old. So yeah, that might explain things.
