19" Rims with a deep dish? Possible???
Ok. I am hellbent on putting a bigger set of rims on the Allroad, but I am very partial to the look of the deep dish rims with the polished lip. All of the rims available at Tirerack and Achtuning are nice, but really look like some version of a factory wheel
I want that custom "fat back tire" look that you used to see on the wide body Porches... etc. Yet I understand due to the big brakes on the Allroad that it is not possible without the use of spacers... and I have no problem with that. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE give me advice on who to consult? How to do this? Rims that work? Correct spacers? Anything would help!

I don't think quattro likes a staggered setup
you could go as large as 19x9 all around I bet without too much difficulty. 19x10" could work but you would have to run lower than a 20mm offset probably and you could get into the fender if you run the suspension too low.
With a +2 setup you should end up with same overall diameter by using a lower profile tire. That means that you issues really come down to wheel width and offset. I have 18x8.5 with 255/45-18s. Of course not all tires are shaped the same so tire choice will have to factor in as well.
It may take a little trial and error to get it right. If I were you I would try 19x9 wheels with 15mm offset and a 255 section tire. I'll bet that would work. If the wheels you want only come in 35mm offset for example you just add a 20mm spacer and you are all set.
