2001 Audi allroad, 2.7t: By freak coincidence, the wiring harness that runs under the radiator, the one that controls the cooling fans, got wrapped around the large fan. I fixed it as much as I can, I put the plugs back in (the ones next to the power steering reservoir) and also the ambient temperature sensor (in front of the radiator), but now there are two wires that got ripped out and I can’t find where they go.
They are a brown and a purple wire in a black plastic tube – they come out of the harness just about where it takes a turn up. It is about 12 inches long. If anyone knows where those wires go to, please let me know.
The car runs fine, no codes whatsoever. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
