Ok guys I'm new to this forum. But not new to Audis. I've owned several. I have a 2006 Audi A3 2.0T 6spd man on 19s. Been lowered and whatnot. And I just recently purchased a 2001 Audi Allroad 2.7T with air suspension. Bought it for my wife to play in. The car itself is in immaculate condition. Nice black leather with silver gunmetal gray outside. All power. Well u bought the car and drove it home. I knew it needed a pass side lower rearward ball joint. So I just bought the entire kit from 1A online. And replaced both upper and both lower control arms. On both sides. Just so everything was new. And I didnt have to worry about it. Well once I got into the car. I noticed the level control arm sensors were both broke in the front. And they had held the two pieces together with a gear worm hose clamp. Which makes the arm shorter than stock. Both sensors are good and work fine. But I want to replace the two broken plastic arms. I really dont want to buy two whole new sensors. When I just need the plastic arm. And metal control arm clamp. I've looked all over for them. But cant find them. Does anyone have a few extra arms around they would like to sell. I need both fronts. Drivers and pass side. Or if anyone knows where to get just the plastic arms or has any to get rid of it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any info.
Well since posting on here about the front air level sensors. I got the car all back together. Started it up. And the level sensors apparently didnt work. So they fronts just kept adding air. And it actually blew both front air bags. The compressor kept running and kept pumping. Even after I turned the car off. It kept pumping. And blew both bags. So the car has been parked for months. And I'm looking to change to springs. The kits I've found set the car at level 2 mostly. Can the springs on the kits be swapped out for lower springs. I'd like to go spring but with lower than level 2. Anyone know of any kits to convert to springs lower than level 2. Thanks.
