2002 Allroad AC in shutdown mode
so I recently had some valves replaced and heads reconditioned on my allroad. everything running smoothly except for a catalytic converter coded, which I can live with.
Last week noticed the ECON button was permanently on...find out there is probably something amiss with the AC system.
Local mechanic pulled these codes from the car:
779 - outside temp sensor
716 - recirculation flap motor
1274 oil pressure actuator
604 - potentiometer - positioning
819 - HIGH PRESSURE SENSOR
1592 - air quality sensor
1317 - IC control module
1314 - ECM
0421 - warm up catalyst (catalytic code)
He cleared the codes, then noticed the 819 was the first to come back. Wondering if I should pursue replacing that sensor, AC switch, or do the multiple codes indicate something else wrong?
Mechanic evacuated the system and recharged. Said the amount taken out was the correct amount for the system and he recharged it. Ford mechanic, but works on all cars.
