2004 Allroad - how to tell which stereo is installed?
The 2004 AR was shipped with either a standard Symphony II stereo, or optional Bose 200W+subwoofer system. I am confused as to which I have, since the stereo head unit is labeled "Audi Symphony", yet when I power on the stereo it displays "BOSE" on the screen. All the speakers are also labeled "BOSE".
Maybe the head unit common in both cases, and only the BOSE upgrade only applies to the speakers?
Where is the subwoofer located (if I have one)?

you have the bose...
there is no change in the head unit. Its the same for all cars. The add-on is as mustbeaudi stated. The additional components that make is Bose are: speakers, sub, amp.
