2004 Audi Allroad Quattro 4.2 quit running! Need help
 

I went out one morning to start the car and let it warm up. Went back out after 5 minutes and the car wasn't running anymore tried to start the car back up and it wouldn't start. Sounded like the fuel pump went out so I replaced it. Still the car won't start and gives me code of 00771 and also I think from trying to start the car so much it may've put it's self in safe mode and won't let the car start even if I did fix it. Is that possible and can I get it out with out having it towed in to a dealership and have them take it out of safe mode?
