A6 C5 V8 Air suspsension (self levelling) removal questions
Hi there folks
So I have a new-to-me a6 C5 with the optional self levelling air suspension. I guess its the same type as the All Road but without the adjustability feature. I want to remove this and fit conventional shock/spring set up. Anyone have any advice on this? Can I fit standard A6 (V8) shocks and springs as a bolt in replacement? How best to disconnect the air compressor (its an avant with the compressor in the trunk Continental OE type compressor). Is there anything I would need to alter with the car's computer management system to prevent fault codes when I disconnect this? There are level sensors that I imagine will throw some codes if I disconnect.
Any info and advice much appreciated!
