air compressor plug **URGENT**
Sorry don't like to do this but i am in a bind... read below...
My ac has gone out while i was driving back home to KY. My shop actually, disconnected the ac compressor and another one plugged it back in and made it work. (my primary shop can't do the ac work) So brought it somewhere else and they plugged it in and it worked... they did nothing! So i was wondering maybe i should try the same thing. Maybe someone could help me out with a location of the air compressor clutch or just the compressor it self.
Thanks so much, I am only going to have about 15 hours or so to check this so the faster the better!!
Thanks again!

Re: air compressor plug **URGENT**
I'm guessing your AC system has a small leak. There is a pressure switch in the system that prevents the compressor from operating if the system pressure gets below a certain point. I'll bet your system is on the edge. I would find a good AC shop and have them look at it. I doubt plugging and unplugging will permanently fix anything.
