allroad dimensions
Because of the fact I need bigger car with a lot of cargo space for my business, and my Mastiff puppy grew overnight into a huge 220 lb. dog, I am thinking of trading my A4 in for an allroad.
Can someone tell me the height with the seats down? My dog is 33" at the shoulder. Will an allroad work for me or do I need to get an SUV?

220 lbs??? That's not a dog, that's a pony!
Rent him out for kids to ride at birthday parties and he can buy his own car.
The ceiling height in the back of the allroad is a little over 31". If he doesn't mind a little contorting to get in, he'd fit okay lying down, but he won't be able to pace around.
IMO, you'd still be far better off with an allroad than an SUV; get a good removable cover for the rear seat (most pet catalogs have some nice ones) and let him climb in there. Put a couple old bolster pillows upright behind the seats so he won't slide into the footwells, and his ride should be pretty comfortable -- plus you can still throw some cargo in the rear.

Allroad is MUCH bigger inside than the A4
Here is a frame of reference for you. Stu here is 105# and is 28" at the shoulder. He is smaller than your horse, but it should be a decent frame of reference.

before you toss the dog in the back of the car, buy a bathmat for the loading area, and read this (It will explain the bandage on the foot in the above pic):
