Default Allroad pricing

Hey guys, am new here. Just about to make a deal on a new '03 Allroad. List is 46,600. Not counting the loyalty rebate ($2k) I think it should sell for about 43k. Dealer wants $45k and seems to be getting stubborn. Seattle area.
Whaddaya think??

Default questions

Is the car on the lot, or are you ordering? If you're ordering you're a bit less likely to get a big discount. If list is 46600, that sounds like most options are on it - allroads seem pretty popular in Puget Sound area lately so they may be selling all they can get especially loaded ones.

Default Seems the dealers on the east coast deal better than the west coast ones.

I would call a few in Oregon and Chat with them. If nothing else it would give you a chance to use the line. Well I called around and these guys can go lower!!!!!

My personal best Audi dealer is Carrera Moters in Bend Oregon. 541-382-1711. Ask for Jeff Neely. Tell him you want an AR for 43K. They have a bunch on there lot!!! Keep us posted!
GoodLuck

Gary, I am in Portland and last fall was having the same issues on a brand new late model 2002 loaded w/6spd. No one in the area would go below the 46,500 threshold.(Seattle had it) I called over to the East coast, found the 6sp I wanted and the color and all the options and paid 41,500 total. Delivery cost me $800. I saved a TON of money getting it from RI. Not a single problem either. They certainly seem to deal more in the east...just my 2 cents.

Yeah, on the lot. Am real excited about the Allroad. Have a TT now, and its been a great car and the lease is up. Just getting too old and creaky to drive a sports car.
BTW -- thanks for all the help -- this is a fine forum. The TT forum has been a winner as well.

http://areyoucovered.com</a
