Only the A6 version. Not the A4.

That's a shame because the A6 version is the only one with adjustable height air suspension, the essence of allroadness.

Yes, indeed. The A6 allroad would get my money, but the A4 allroad doesn't have a chance. I've been waiting and hoping a new allroad would arrive here -- my 2001 has 145,000 mi and is finally slowing falling apart -- but the A4 allroad is pointless.

Audi (if you're listening), you really need to reconsider bringing the A6 allroad to the US, even if it is on a special order basis only.

Oddly enough we can get it in Canada. Not that we can traipse down to our local Audi dealer and order one. But apparently Canada has some sort of odd import regulation that if the car is deemed to be sold in a small consortium of European nations (Norway being one of them), then we can bring the car to Canada without having to go the route of crash testing etc. So if Audi can sell this in Norway then I only need fly there, buy one, and arrange to bring it home. Nevermind warranty and parts and the like. Still...never been to Norway.

Thank you once again Audi for consolidating US market choice to a variety of similar looking sedans with automatic transmissions and available in wide variety of the color grey.

2012 A6 Allroad wasn't dropped from the US, it never was planned to come in the first place.

Yeah it is kind of ironic because the original allroad was actually intended for the US market but they ended up with better sales back home than here.
