Allroad's gone. Audi's great! Hope you guys don't mind a S-4'er posting here now & again
It took several months but the exchange happend yesterday, NO money changed hands, I gave them my 2004, Alpaka Beige, Premium/Winter Package Tiptronic allroad 2.7L, with 21,000 miles, chassis vibrations, and steering wheel ossillations and rear end rumble, complete....and they cheerfully gave me my new 2005, Dolphin Grey, Premium Package, Bose sound, Heated/Silver leather seats, and carbon fiber trimmed S-4! This thing is soooo sweet compared to the allroad (although not to say that the allroad was a "bad" car)but the S-4 drives where you point it...rather quickly...is more planted on the road, and that V-8 sound is intoxicating. It is smaller but I think that I can live with it, and the Recaro's make you one with the car. The allroad was more of a lux oriented model, I'm sorry that I didn't give the S-4 consideration in the first place, thought that I needed the larger size and the air suspension was a really great feature. I don't think that the S-4 will be as good in the snow either.
Generally...no absolutly....I am happy, and the dealer finally admitted tht there were more buybacks for the 2.7L A-6 and allroad models than anyother cars that they build due to the same issues that I had. More than they will admit to. Hopefully my luck is good with the S-4. I was a bit sorry to see the allroad drive off, it looked sweet with those big bad Goodyear F-1's, and TSW wheels on it!
Hope that you guys won't mind me posting to this forum from time to time even though I have the S-4!

Re: don't mind a S-4'er
I was just drooling all over a "lil" 4 avant in a Belmont Shore (Long Beach, CA) lot tonight! Sexy sexy sexy lil machine!
I LOVE the "allroad"ability - it's a wonderful blend of utility & sport .... but would love to have a pure road car too.
Some day ... some day (soon) a V10 Q7 for go anywhere (I mean ANYwhere) anytime utility ..... and a "lil" avant for haulin *** on backroads & highways.
Keep postin' ColoQuattro ...

Scream'in Deal...Awesome Customer Service...Awesome products!!
Yeah it was a scream'in deal. Took me all of about five seconds to decide to accept it. Same term on the financing, just Keep same payments for the remainder of the term, no extra money down, more expensive car, full warranty starts from this date. Just dropped my AR off and took their S-4, not even any sales tax for a straight across trade.
