Default AMS special on aFe air filters for your allroad, $49.00 shipped.

AMS special on aFe air filters for your allroad, $49.00 shipped. This is the introductory price and won't be offered again!

aFe filters use a flexible and durable polyurethane sealing material, unlike other performance filters' plastisol surround which can shrink and harden under high temperatures. The most common complaint with performance filters is contaminated air leaking around the seals. aFe filters allow airflow only through the filtering media. The firmness of the frame also helps to maintain its shape and keeps the filter from distorting in the air box, further preventing air leaks.

aFe uses deeper pleats with U shapes on the edges to allow better airflow versus competitors narrower bends that result in less airflow. aFe has invested in superior machinery and state of the art manufacturing methods to claim higher airflow than any other manufacturer and they even encourage comparisons. Gauze media is the best material and aFe has improved on the design with their own formulation of oil that is less likely to get on the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and trigger a check engine light (CEL) warning, which, again, is a very common complaint.

Compared with a leading competitor's filter, aFe's deeper pleats allow more airflow. Also note how the bleeding of the polyurethane on the edges of the pleated material is extremely even; not too much, not too little.

The aFe filter's flexible polyurethane housing is rigid, seals completely around the media and is taller, allowing for more filtration surface area.

Compared to stock, the aFe filter has better sealing all around, allows more airflow, stays cleaner longer and has a lifetime warranty.
