Another allroad triumph!
As many of you may have read or heard, on such authoritative news sources as the Bob and Tom Show or the News of the Weird, the Santa Fe City Council is considering an ordinance requiring seat belts, car seats, or other similar protective restraints for pets that are riding in cars and trucks. I can verify that these sources are not making this up. I mean, we wouldn't want little Foo-Foo to go flying through the windshild in an accident, after all.
Well, I'm happy to report that my allroad came fresh (well, years ago when it was fresh) from the factory in compliance with this new law. I'll just put Foo-Foo, or her cousin Spike or whatever fair-sized pet I may have in my car, in the back under the cargo net. I'm still working on the gerbil problem, though. Gotta watch those flying gerbils. HPH |
Too funny, flying gerbils...LOL
|
I know some people who know some people who know just where to put the gerbils...
|
Zoinks 8^)
|
Ask Mr. Gere I am sure he knows where to put Gerbils
|
I'm not into dog, cat, gerbil, hair, my own hair falling out bugs me when seen on my carpet
so is it ok to strap a pet box to the roof?
|
Don't know -- I'll have to ask my council-person...
...(we have council-people, rather than -men or -women here in politically correct Santa Fe).
I suppose it is, though, because you can do that in the pack of a pickup. There's been, how do I say it?, a certain amount of backlash about this proposed ordinance, so it may just die the death it deserves. HPH |
