Another APR update
This has nothing to do with my chip.. but is about the Customer Service of APR...
Last week I asked them about a new ECU (spare) for my Car. they said sure...we will get you a price. Today they said "No way...our software to clone an ECU is not compatible with the allroad ECU"
Today I reminded APR that they have been asked on many occasions, by many owners, about Direct Port for our cars. Today they said our ECU is simply not compatible with Direct Prt technology.... but we are working on it.
I reminded APR that I asked to purchase a chip when they were having their winter sale: 1 free program whe you buy the chip or all additional programs when you buy one extra.
But APR didn't have the chip yet. So I asked them to "raincheck me" now being they had the chip now. Again APR orginally said they would consider it. At the time I bought the chip...they said NO. I reminded them of this today and got no response.
So Paul now regrets that he handed over a lot of money to a company that does not know the meaning or value of Good Will.
Am I happy with the chip. Yes...amd I happy with APR..not right now.

Okay I'll take a couple of these
Audi has made it more difficult to acquire ECU's, so getting a second ECU is a bit of effort.
With the immobilizer the ECU has to be configured for your car (CAN BUS ETC) Instructions are on ross-tech.com. However, APR can supposedly clone the immobilizer (is it cloning or they just saying it)?!
They are having issues with the DPP for almost all cars, they announce it and it has major problems.
APR's stance lately is bothersome. Come out and be honest, none of this soon, possibly, just say no.
HOWEVER! S4 code runs just fine in the allroad, so again I'm uncertain what the friggen issue is.
But you will find this with most of our tuners

i don't think they can clone immobilizer 3 which is what the allroad has?
i was unsure about what the allroad had and never checked because i didn't care but i checked w/vag tool emulator and my allroad has immobilizer 3 and i have the earliest ecu box so.
