Default Anyone in CT w/ VAG tool to program RNS-E Nav Unit??

Hello!
I recently retrofitted an Audi RNS-E Navigation unit in my 02 Allroad. I searched on the VAG Tool Locator site and found a few people in my area that have the VAG tool, but I want someone who knows exactly how to program the gauge cluster(DIS) to show driving directions. From what I hear, it's a 5 minute job. I'm willing to pay someone to take care of this for me. Please let me know. Thanks!

Default Where in CT?

I have VAG in and I'm in the Farmington/Avon area. I don't know the procedure for programming the RSN-E though.

Dave,

I am in the same area and need to adjust my 402 mod on my suspension (I have done it before and have the paperwork just in case).

My RNS-E is already programmed to my car, I just need to change a value under the "adaptation-10". It looks pretty simple. Long story short:
1) When in the "Select Control Module" screen, you choose option #17-Instruments.
2) You then select "adaptation-10" option.
3) You enter 62 in the "Channel Number Box" and then press "read".
4) Then, you enter a value of 5 in the value box and then press "save".
5) Then, you totally exit out of VAG-com and disconnect the cable from the port.

I guess that's it. Does this look familiar or sound correct to you? Here's a link that gives a step-by-step to program a whole RNS-E unit. I don't need to do the whole set-up, just the Instrument Adaptation reprogram: http://www.nsxjr.com/docs/RNS.pdf
I'm in Colchester, but I am willing to travel to the Farmington/Avon area. Let me know if you would be able to help me out. What are you charging for your services? Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Default If you want to make the trip up here, I can definitely do that for you. But...

You might want to check out the VAG Locator link and see if there is someone closer before making the drive.
